Patient Concern Resolution Process

Our mission is to make a positive difference through outstanding healthcare and service—every life, every moment, every day. If at any time you have a concern about patient care or safety please direct your concern to the leader of that area, who you can reach by calling the main hospital number at 847-742-9800. If you do not believe your concern has been resolved, during normal business hours please contact patient relations at 224-783-1339. For after hours and weekends, please call the main hospital phone number and ask to speak to the nursing supervisor.

Filing a Complaint

If your concern was not resolved to your satisfaction you are welcome to call the main hospital number and request the CEO of Advocate Sherman Hospital, Rick Floyd. In addition to the organization’s concern resolution process, any person may file a complaint about a healthcare facility to:
